BACKGROUND

This project was a documentation of how AI tools are integrated into a professional content practice. The goal was to describe exactly where AI adds speed without adding risk, and where human judgment remains the irreplaceable component, rather than producing either a blanket permission or a blanket prohibition.

I mapped the workflow across three production stages: ideation, drafting, and editing, with each stage split into what AI does and what human judgment does, and a step-by-step process showing the specific prompts, outputs, and human checkpoints at each point. The drafting section distinguishes between AI-assisted mode for SEO-led informational content and human-led mode for thought leadership, where AI generating the draft would undermine the content's core value.

The result was a workflow document built around two governing principles: AI is used where it adds speed without adding risk, and AI is not used where judgment is the whole point.
