- Content governance framework for a B2B tech brand
BACKGROUND
This project was for a client in the B2B technology space. The goal was to bring consistency to a six-person content team that had grown quickly and was producing more content with less coherence in quality, tone, process, and strategic alignment.
I built the framework across four components: clear role definitions with explicit boundaries about what each person does and does not own, a standard five-stage approval workflow with documented SLA targets and an escalation protocol, a four-tier quality standards system covering strategic, editorial, technical, and brand standards, and a full onboarding pack ensuring every new team member, including freelancers, starts from the same baseline.
The result was a governance framework designed to remove friction rather than add it, with the explicit principle that delays are a system problem to be examined before a personnel one.
BRAND STRATEGY
I help brands figure out their voice, their positioning, and how to communicate consistently in a way that actually resonates with the right people.
