BACKGROUND

This project was a reference document showing how AI use should differ across SEO content, thought leadership, and social content, and why using AI the same way for all three produces different failure modes in each. The goal was to make the governing logic explicit so team members could make principled decisions rather than applying a blanket policy.

I mapped AI use intensity at each production stage across all three content types, from topic selection through to final approval, with the reasoning for each decision documented in the explanation column. The document included detailed step-by-step workflows for each content type, with the thought leadership workflow built almost entirely around human tasks because the perspective and credibility of the author is the entire product.

The result was a document organized around one governing principle: AI use intensity should be inversely proportional to how much the specific human's voice and judgment is the primary value of the content, applied differently to each content type rather than as a rule applied uniformly.
