BACKGROUND

This project was for a client in the DTC beauty space. The goal was to support a website restructure consolidating three separate stores into one domain by assigning keyword targets to every core page in the new information architecture before a single URL went live.

I mapped 42 pages across six site sections, assigning a primary keyword, secondary keyword cluster, search intent, and page-level optimization notes to each one. The map covered the full site from homepage through category pages, individual product pages, editorial guides, and brand pages, with intent categorized across five types so the development and copy teams could make informed decisions at every level of the site hierarchy.

The result was a keyword map that could be used directly as a brief by the web team, with schema, meta, and content notes embedded per page rather than held separately.
