BACKGROUND

This project was for a client in the freelance business education space. The goal was to build a newsletter that gave independent professionals genuinely useful, numbers-grounded advice rather than motivational content dressed up as strategy.

I wrote a three-issue arc covering the fundamentals that happen before a project starts: pricing, proposals, and onboarding. Each issue was structured around a specific, correctable mistake rather than a broad topic, with the practical fix built into the piece rather than saved for a paid product. The result was a newsletter designed to build the kind of trust that comes from giving the real answer away, which is also what makes the audience want to keep reading.
